The
Eastern Ohio Chapter held its 2nd annual Road Rally in August. We had 8 entries
and all finished in one way or another. The
Rally started in Canton at the Klingstedt Bros. Printing Co. (LH Trading Post).
The final destination, a cookout, was in Dalton at the city park. I planned the
rally to include a number of sections on the LH. Points were given for right
answers to clues along the route. Jim & Karen Cassler came in first place to win
a DVD of the Dukes of Hazzard First Season. Prizes were given for second, Dick &
Gerry Lotze, & third place, Ezra Mallernee & his son. Bob Evans
won a prize for Best Looking Ride. A prize was also given for 'most lost',
however I forgot to record who won it. (Ed note: He remembers!) There were
approximately 28 people (members & non-member guests) in attendance.
