PLANS FINALIZED FOR O.L.H.L. ANNUAL MEETING AT GALION
The 14th Annual Meeting of the Ohio Lincoln Highway League is officially scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. at the Elks Banquet Room in Galion. Chairman Mike Hocker of the host Mid-Ohio Chapter has been working hard to make plans for an interesting, informative, and entertaining day of events. A business meeting will take place in the morning, along with a time of “show and tell,” when members can display and discuss artifacts or ephemera which relate to the Lincoln Highway. In the afternoon, local historian Ted Bruner will present his program entitled “Colonel Crawford’s Battle of Olentangy.” Members and guests will also have the opportunity to tour Brownella Cottage and Uptowne Galion. A registration form and other pertinent information are enclosed separately with this newsletter. The day’s agenda is shown on the reverse of this sheet.
With respect to the business meeting, members are requested to go to the OLHL web site, where the minutes from last year’s meeting have been posted. During the course of the meeting, these minutes will need to be approved as prepared. For those not able to go on line, hard copies of the 2007 minutes can be mailed upon request. Additional copies of the registration form will also be posted.
