Speakers Bureau

We love to speak about our passion The Lincoln Highway, any time we can gather enough ears to listen to our story.  If you would like one of our members to speak to your group or class, please contact us.  Our speakers are located across the length of the Lincoln Highway in Ohio.  The talks are free of charge, however the speaker should be reimbursed for expenses.


Mike Buettner   Lima, Ohio.  Mike is the president of the Ohio Lincoln Highway League (OLHL), the Ohio affiliate of the national Lincoln Highway Association. He is the editor of Buckeye Ramblings, the quarterly newsletter of the OLHL, and the author of A History and Road Guide of the Lincoln Highway in Ohio, the feature article at the OLHL web site. Mike has also prepared articles for that site which cover the other significant highways in Ohio. He is a graduate of Purdue University, where he studied surveying and mapping. Jim Cassler  Canton, Ohio. Jim is Vice-President of the Eastern Ohio Lincoln Highway Chapter, a Director of the Ohio Lincoln Highway Heritage Corridor, and owner/operator of the Klingstedt Brothers Company & Lincoln Highway Trading Post.   The Trading Post operates a mobile concession trailer which is available for promotion and product sales at special events along the Lincoln Highway. Jim is active in promoting Ohio's Lincoln Highway as a viable tourist destination. Contact him during business hours at 330-456-8319.


Mike Hocker  Galion, Ohio.  Mike is founding member and Executive Director of the Ohio Lincoln Highway Historic Byway, an organization dedicated to economic development of the road; while preserving its history. Mike was a Main Street manager and is familiar with the task of promoting small communities. He owns Package Power, Inc., a design and marketing studio in Galion, Ohio.


Bob Lichty Canton, Ohio.  Past President of the national Lincoln Highway Association.  Bob is deeply involved in Lincoln Highway preservation efforts with Congress and the National Park Service.  Primarily available days and evenings. Call (330) 456-7869 or (330) 704-5271.


Mike McNaull  Ashland, Ohio.  President of Mid-Ohio Chapter LHA.   Vice-President of the Ohio Lincoln Highway League.  M.B.A. Ashland University.  In addition to the Lincoln Highway, informal programs include Ohio Indian trails, battles, etc.  Primarily available evenings and weekends.


Jim Ross Columbus, Ohio.  Webmaster of the Ohio Lincoln Highway League.  M.B.A. Malone College.
