EXCERPTS FROM THE 1920 AUTOMOBILE BLUE BOOK
Some of the best references for automobile travel in the 1910s and 1920s were the Automobile Blue Books published in Chicago. Each Blue Book covered a different region of the United States, charting the best routes between major cities or junction points. Below are excerpts from Route 558 (Canton to Marion) and Route 559 (Canton to Lima) in the 1920 book, which together have been compiled to create a route between Mansfield and Lima.
